Tall Cake

I have a Birthday card to share today using the gorgeous Tall Cake stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil.

I think it's beautiful, fun and quirky and I loved colouring it!

I decided to keep the card clean and simple to focus on the girl and the cake.

I coloured the image with Copics and I added some white to her dress with a gel pen.

I used a die to cut out the panel and added the Magnolia Tilda Lace die at the top.

I used a gold glitter pen for the candle flames which looks nice and sparkly ( but hard to tell in the photo).

The sentiment is from an old CC Designs set called Birthday Wishes.

Copics used :

R 20, 30

Balloon Lucy

I coloured up the gorgeous  Balloon Lucy by CC Designs and created a clean and simple card with her.

I decided to go bold and bright and I really like the way it turned out :)

I also stamped one of the sayings from the Birthday Wishes Sentiments next to her and I used the
Rectangles #1 Die to cut it out.
After I had done that though, I decided that I actually wanted a skinnier rectangle, so I cut off the sides.  I really like the look of the stitching just at the top and bottom anyway :)

Ingredients
Stamps : Balloon Lucy, Birthday wishes sentiments
Card : x-press it, slate, grey, bella Blvd stars
Ink : memento black
Other : rectangles #1 die, copics

Copics used :
RV 23, 25
YR 14, 16, 18
W 00, 1, 3, 5, 7
Y 15
R 30
E 000, 00, 21

Balloon Boy

It's nearly time for another fabulous release of stamps at CC Designs!
The Design Team are showcasing Roberto's Rascals stamps today and I'm giving you a sneak peek of this gorgeous little guy.
This is Balloon Boy.
And I love him so much!  Isn't he the cutest?!

I coloured this cute stamp with Copics and cut it out.
Then I created a background for him using watercolour paper and various Distress Inks, water splodges, flicks of white paint and some black enamel accents.
And I was really happy with how it turned out :)
I used the Make a Card #6 Die to cut a tag out of it.
And I decided to keep the card clean and simple to keep the focus on Balloon Boy and the tag.

The white piece was cut out using the Make a Card #14 Die
and I also used the Birthday Wishes Sentiments Stamp Set.

Copics used :

Y 13, 15
YG 01, 11, 13

Balloon Heart

I have another cutie to share with you from the latest release by CC Designs.

This is Balloon Heart and I LOVE her!!!  Isn't she adorable?!

She would be great for a Valentine card but I decided to make a Birthday card with her instead :)
The "Happy Birthday" is from the Birthday Wishes Sentiments set.  I embossed it with white and just cut these two words out to use.

It was so much fun colouring her!  I decided to use purples and greys and then teamed them with some blue on the card.  I really love this colour combo and decided to maybe splurge and buy some papers in these colours.  I looked online for a while and came up with nothing! (except a cute one for xmas). Why don't manufacturers like these colours?  Perhaps I'm unusual in liking them?
Anyway if you know of any papers in these colours please let me know.  I'd love to use them more often :)

Ingredients :

Stamps : Balloon Heart, Birthday Wishes Sentiments
Card : x-press it, grey, soft sky
Ink : memento black, versamark, white
Other : layering tags die, snowy day enamel dots,  Tilda Lace Die, white ep, embossing folder SU, copics

Copics used :

V 12, 15, 17
RV 0000
