Balloons

I have a card for CC Designs to share with you today.

I have used the Balloons girl from the Cupcakes and Balloons set.

She's so sweet isn't she ?! I love her!

I don't do paper-piecing very often but I decided to paper-piece her dress and I really like how it turned out :)

The sentiment is from a new set called Birthday Wishes Sentiments and I used the Banner die to cut it out.  Then I just used a needle to push 2 holes through the top of it and threaded my twine through and tied a bow.

Card : x-press it, baked sugar, (Little Yellow Bicycle)
Ink : memento black, antique linen Distress Ink, suede
Other : #1 rectangle die, scalloped rectangle die, Make a Banner #15 die, linen thread, copics

Cupcakes and Balloons

It's new release time again at CC Designs and this is a little peek at some of the new goodies.

This cutie is from a set called Cupcakes and Balloons and you get 2 adorable girls in the set.

The "Celebrate" is from the Celebrate set (fancy that :)  It actually has 3 very cute animal images (I'm using one of them for my card tomorrow) and 3 sentiments, but I just thought it worked perfectly with Cupcakes.

The stars are from the fantastic new Make a card #14 Birthday Die.  This die is a "must-have", there are just so many useful and fun elements in it.

And the papers are from the new Rainbow paper pad and I used some Smoochie and Princess enamel dots too :)
