Reindeer Peace

I have another Christmas card to share today using Lavinia Stamps

This one uses the Berry Wreath, Foliage Set and the small Reindeer stamps.

I stamped the wreath using Dusty Concord archival ink and added some fullness with the small branch from the Foliage Set. I then stamped the small Reindeer with Versafine Clair.

I coloured the berries using white, gold and copper sparkle pens and added a die-cut shimmering star.
I used a rectangle die from CC Designs and a sentiment from a Kaisercraft paper called Calm.

showing a bit of the sparkle :)

Candy Cane Bear

Hi :) I have another Christmas card for Mo's Digital Pencil to share today.

If you're like me and have a lot of Christmas cards to get made and not much time to do it, then this stamp is the one for you :)

This is Candy Cane Bear he is super cute but also super quick and easy to colour.

I decided to print the bear and the sentiment out separately. I used a large tag die to cut around the stamp. Then I cut out the "Hope your holidays are" part and mounted it on black card and used a "sweet" die to finish off the sentiment.

At the top of the tag I used some gorgeous Making Merry washi tape by Simple Stories. It's something I bought recently and I fought my urge to buy the matching paper.  But using the tape really made me wish I hadn't paid attention to my logical side when I was buying.  I really wanted new Xmas paper and it is beautiful, but I didn't "need" more. So I was trying to be good :(  Anyway it did go pretty nicely with this old paper from Little Yellow Bicycle that I had in my stash.

All is bright

I have a Christmas card to share today using Lavinia Stamps and stencils.

I created the background by firstly blending on Speckled Egg Distress Oxide and then I used  Pomegranate and Peacock Feather Distress Oxide with a Christmas word stencil from kaisercraft. I then blended more Peacock Feather around the outside edge of the panel.

I stamped Lavinia stamps Berry Wreath with mini berries with Peeled Paint archival ink and black. I used the small Reindeer and Pipin also from Lavinia Stamps.

I used gesso with a star stencil from Whimsy Stamps and added one star cut from silver glitter card.
The sentiment is from a sheet of Kaisercraft called First Noel - Calm.

I coloured the berries with white and gold and copper sparkle pens. You can see the effect they give in the right light below.  They're very pretty :)

Katie and Bear

I have another Christmas card for Mo's Digital Pencil to share today.

I love, love, love this stamp!  It's called Katie and Bear. And it just might be my favourite of all of Mo's stamps :)

This was a fun stamp to colour!
I decided to take my inspiration from some cute paper I had in my stash.  It's from Carta Bella and is  called Winter Fun.  It's old but still gorgeous I think.

The beautiful sentiment comes with the stamp too :)

Santa's Elf Elsa

I have another card to share for Mo's Digital Pencil today.

This one is using the absolutely gorgeous stamp called Santa's Elf Elsa.

I had a lovely relaxing time colouring this stamp with my Copics and then kept the focus on her by creating a very clean and simple card.  The only embellishment being a little patterned paper and a single white snowflake.

The beautiful sentiment comes with this stamp too! Bonus :)

2 Penguin Chicks

I have some exciting news to share today :)

I am now on the Design Team at Mo's Digital Pencil. YAY!!!

I have loved Mo's illustrations for a very, very long time. She is such a wonderful artist and I can't wait to colour and create with some of my favourite stamps.

Seeing Christmas decorations in stores over the last couple of weeks really gave me the push I needed to get working on some Christmas cards. There are so many beautiful ones in Mo's store that it was hard to choose but I thought this one was adorable.  It's called 2 Penguin Chicks and I had lots of fun colouring them with my Copics :)

I created the background by sponging and blending some pistachio, peacock feathers, mermaid lagoon and wilted violet Distress Oxide Inks.

Then I placed a star stencil on top of it and dabbed a damp piece of paper towel through each star to give it a "bleached" effect.

The snow they are standing on is just a torn piece of white card and the sentiment was created using the Bold ABC Die from Whimsy Stamps.

It is a Slimline card but a little shorter than usual as I cut the card to fit a random slim envelope I had lying around.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas

I have a Christmas card to share using a gorgeous stamp from Dreamerland Crafts.

This stamp is called We Wish You A Merry Christmas and as soon as I saw it I just knew I NEEDED it :)

Aren't they adorable?!

I used my Copics to colour the images and then used Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink around the outside of the panel.
The stars and snowflakes are actually done with sparkly gold and silver pens but unfortunately I couldn't get a shot of them "shining".

I found some old, but beautiful, patterned paper that I decided to zigzag stitch around and tied a little button on with some thin twine.
The sentiment is also from some patterned paper that I've been hoarding but finally decided to cut into :)

Copics used ;
E 000, 13, 21, 42, 43, 44
W 00, 1, 3, 7
R 20, 22, 27, 29, 30, 59

G 28
