Tall Cake
I have a Birthday card to share today using the gorgeous Tall Cake stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil.
I think it's beautiful, fun and quirky and I loved colouring it!
I decided to keep the card clean and simple to focus on the girl and the cake.
I coloured the image with Copics and I added some white to her dress with a gel pen.
I used a die to cut out the panel and added the Magnolia Tilda Lace die at the top.
I used a gold glitter pen for the candle flames which looks nice and sparkly ( but hard to tell in the photo).
The sentiment is from an old CC Designs set called Birthday Wishes.
Copics used :
RV 02, 21, 23
R 20, 30
E 000, 00, 21, 31, 33, 35, 50
Y 15
W 00

Twin Bunnies
I've never made a Twin card before and after going through my very large pile of stamps, I settled on this bunny from Forest Friends by CC Designs.
I have used it before on a baby card and I couldn't resist using it again.
It is so adorably cute!
For the background panel, I used a star stencil and sponged some white ink onto Blushing Bride card.
I attached these to a piece of Little Bo Peep paper (Crate Paper), and used my favourite border die again (Magnolia's Tilda Lace die).
I white embossed the congrats from another retired CC Designs set.
And I finished the card off by die-cutting some stars from white felt and attaching with some embroidery floss.

Pull Me Along Birthday
It was my youngest daughter's Birthday last week and she somehow turned into a teenager?!
I can't believe she's so big now! Time goes by so fast doesn't it ?!!!
It's a bit sad :(
Anyway, this is the card I made for her.
I had used this stamp from Dreamerland Crafts on a card for her big sister last month. But she loved it so much I knew I had to use it on her card too.
I was happy with that because this stamp called Pull Me Along, is super cute and so much fun to colour!
I coloured the stamp with copics and used the coordinating die to cut her and the pig out.
I also used a little Wink of Stella on her wings for some sparkle and popped her up on foam tape for added dimension.
Ingredients :
Stamps - Pull me Along (Dreamerland Crafts), Birthday Chicks (MFT)
Card - x-press it, grey, black, Home sweet home (Graphic 45)
Ink - memento black, versamark
Other - white ep, balloon die (CC Designs), Tilda lace die (Magnolia), Wink of stella, copics

Bug Birgitta
This little cutie is called Bug Birgitta and she's a real sweetheart isn't she?!
![]() |
I don't do paper piecing all that often, but I thought she would look very cute in this happy yellow outfit.
I coloured the rest of her with copics and used the Circles #1 die to cut her out.
All the papers are from one of my favouritest ever pads by Echo Park called Bundle of Joy.
The sentiment is from an old CC Designs set called HB2U Sentiments, which isn't available any more,so lucky you if you have it :)

Umbrella Cinnamon
I have another new stamp from CC Designs to share today.
This is Umbrella Cinnamon and she's having lots of fun splashing in puddles :)
My girls love these Cinnamon stamps!
My youngest said "She's so lovely but why do you always colour her in yellow?"
I hadn't realised I was! But I had a good excuse this time anyway.
"Because she's in a raincoat!"
Obviously raincoats can be any colour, but yes I coloured her with yellow.
So I took a look back through my cards to see if she was right.
The results were :
4 Cinnamon cards = 2 yellow, 2 other
So it depends how you look at it I guess, like a glass half full or half empty type thing :)
My colour and paper choices were also inspired by the mood board challenge at Scrapbook Boutique.
It's a board full of summery/beachy images. So not like this stamp at all BUT it has lots of yellow beach umbrellas and yellow swimsuits against a cloudy blue sky. The quote on the board is perfect too!
So I made this image fit :)
Ingredients :
Stamps :Umbrella Cinnamon. Little Pixie - Sunshine
Card : x-press it, suede, Homegrown (Pebbles), Oxford Lane (MME)
Ink : memento black, versamark
Other : white ep, Tilda lace die (Magnolia), copics

Balloon Heart
This is Balloon Heart and I LOVE her!!! Isn't she adorable?!
She would be great for a Valentine card but I decided to make a Birthday card with her instead :)
The "Happy Birthday" is from the Birthday Wishes Sentiments set. I embossed it with white and just cut these two words out to use.

New Baby
I've used a gorgeous new Whimsy Stamp by Sylvia Zet called New Baby.
And isn't it adorable!
I also used the new Happy Day sentiment set by CC Designs. I think this worked really well with the image. It's cute and it meant the card could be used for a new baby or for a baby shower or when someone announces they're having a baby. I have had a few occasions to make cards for people at work who are going on maternity leave and I like to give them something then, but don't know the happy details yet. This card would be perfect for that.
The papers are from a Crate Paper pad called Little Bo Peep and I also used the Magnolia Tilda Lace die.
I used a gem and a Prima Sun Kissed Button.
Ingredients :
Stamps : New Baby, Happy Day
Card : black, x-press it, Little Bo Peep (Crate paper)
Ink : memento black
Other : pierced oval stax (MFT), Magnolia Tilda Lace die, gem, Prima Sun Kissed Button, gold spica, copics

Tilda With Fantasy Flower
I've used a Magnolia stamp called Tilda with Fantasy Flower. She's very sweet isn't she!
You could use her for lots of occasions but I have run out of Thank You cards and I thought she would work perfectly on one.
The sentiment is a new one from Whimsy Stamps called Definitions Notables 7. It's out of stock at the moment but just email Nikki and I'm sure she will get more in for you. It's a great sentiment set.
The beautiful blue papers are from a lovely pad by Echo Park called Head Over Heels. I used the Magnolia Tilda Lace Die and the MFT Grassy Edges Die. And I also used star dust stickles, round gems and a Prima Tea-Thyme button.
Oh and my Copics of course :)

Matryoshka Tilda
I often use my sewing machine on cards now, I think it adds a little "something". So I decided to challenge myself a bit more and add a little hand embroidery to it too.
I embroidered little roses onto the web ribbon simply by doing a french knot and a straight stitch for the stem and I was pretty happy with how it turned out :)
Isn't this stamp cute? It's a new Magnolia stamp called Matryoshka Tilda. I think I might just have to buy, a special little someone, one of these dolls to go with the card now :)
Ingredients :
Stamps : Matryoshka Tilda (Magnolia)
Card : x-press it, crumb cake, Sweet pea (Kaisercraft)
Ink : memento black, antique linen and walnut stain distress ink
Other : big shot, Tilda Lace (Magnolia), opulent ovals (SB), Pierced oval stax (MFT), lt pink web ribbon, flat backed pearls, Tea Thyme button (Prima), linen thread, embroidery floss, copics
Hopefully you can add some stitching to a card, in some form or other, and join in with the Bunny Zoe Challenge this month.
Thanks for dropping by for a look today :)

Twinkle Toes
I got quite a few crafty goodies for Christmas and I was very keen to use some of them and make a card, but firstly there was the dreaded job of cleaning my craft room. It was such a mess!!!
Anyway after getting that done (it took me a whole day!!!) I decided to use this Jo Davies image and make a card for Bunny Zoe's Crafts.
Isn't she gorgeous!!! It is a Whimsy Stamp called Twinkle Toes and it's on sale at Bunny Zoe's at the moment too. Actually everything in the store is on sale :)
The sentiment is from a Whimsy set called Magical Mini Letter Seals . The beautiful paper is from a pad by MME called Cambridge Court and I tried to choose copic markers to match. I used one of the Christmas presents I bought myself too :) , the Magnolia Tilda Lace Die, and I love it! I am going to use that a lot, I can tell. I also used some star dust stickles, web ribbon and acrylic round gems.
I think this card would be great for lots of occasions, birthdays, graduations, even New Years Eve!
Ingredients :
Stamps : Twinkle Toes, Magical Mini Letter Seals
Card : x-press it, basic grey, Cambridge Court (MME)
Ink : memento black
Other : big shot, Magnolia Tilda Lace Die, star dust stickles, web ribbon and acrylic round gems.
