Star

I have another card for CC Designs to share with you today.

This is a Little Pixie stamp called Star.  She's very sweet isn't she?!
This sentiment, plus a couple of others, comes with her too :)
I decided to cut it out with this star banner from Make a Card #14 Die and I just used some star dust stickles on the star (and on the other stars too)!

The whole card is cut out using this die as well.  I love how you get the stitching detail on the card's edge with it.

The papers from the Tickled Pink pad fit her so well. And I used the Make a Tag Die again too :)

Ingredients :

Stamps : Little Pixie Star
Card : x-press it, slate, silver, Tickled Pink paper
Ink : memento black, versafine
Other : Make a card #14 die, Make a tag #6 die, ribbon, brad, star dust stickles, copics

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges :

Allsorts - Happy Birthday
Ribbon Girl - Any image
Inky Chicks - Anything but square
Simon Says Stamp - Make a wish

Thanks for dropping by today :)

ZooDoo page

We have another Cyber Challenge over at Mystical Scrapbooks this weekend.
Each of the Design Team have provided a sketch and your challenge is to use one of them to create a page.

I have used this sketch from PageMaps for my inspiration.

I haven't stuck exactly to this sketch because some of the elements I wanted to use didn't really work with it, but I definitely got my inspiration from it. Please don't feel you have to follow sketches exactly when entering Challenges, but you still need to be able to see elements of it :)

The papers I used are from the October Afternoon Sidewalks collection and they are SO pretty.
The papers behind the photos are both sides of Hide and Seek.  I would buy a couple of sheets of it because it is so gorgeous and it was one of those times when I really didn't want to cut into the paper.
The yellow paper behind is the B side of Red Light Green Light.
The stickers on the bottom right are all from this collection too.

The "Love" title is made with the wonderful cursive alphabet from the Pink Paislee Hey Kid Elements Stickers.

I have also used some Kraft card and some Core'dinations Kraft Core #11, which is wonderful! I just distressed the edge of it, but I love the look of the kraft and green together.

I also used some lace from the Kaisercraft Natural Lace pack.

I used CC Designs Square and Rectangle dies to cut the mats behind the photos and cut and the patterned papers behind them too.

Thanks for dropping by today :)

Circle Challenge

Hi :)

I'm here with the Mystical Scrapbooks second challenge for May.
My challenge is to make Circles a feature of your page.
There are many different ways to incorporate them of course!  But I have used some fun paper and a button.

I used a lot of items from the Pink Paislee Hey Kid range on my page.
The circle paper is called Hula Hoop.  It is actually a diecut paper, which is wonderful because you can change the look of it depending on what colour cardstock you put behind it.  And it adds a bit of extra dimension to the page too.  I cut it down a little so there would be a cardstock border around it also.  I used Core'dinations Aquaduct for my base, but there were many different colours I could have used and they all looked great - just different.

The banner is from the Hey Kid range too. It's part of a set of 9 different Tags, which are all fabulous!
The Love sticker and the alphabet are from the Element Stickers.  I have used these stickers so many times now!  I love the alphabets on it and the fun elements too.

The Hey Kid papers and embellishments are wonderful for both boys and girls.  They're great quality too and I highly recommend them :)

I also added a "button" to the page, to continue the Circle theme.  It's actually a button diecut, not the real thing.  I just cut out a few, glued them together and covered it with Glossy Accents.  It looks pretty good and not as bulky on a page as a real button.

I hope you'll join in with our challenge.

Thanks for dropping by today :)
