Twin Bunnies

I had a request to make a card for someone who was having twin girls.

I've never made a Twin card before and after going through my very large pile of stamps, I settled on this bunny from Forest Friends by  CC Designs.

I have used it before on a baby card and I couldn't resist using it again.
It is so adorably cute!

For the background panel, I used a star stencil and sponged some white ink onto Blushing Bride card.

I stamped the bunny twice, coloured with Copics and cut them out.

I attached these to a piece of Little Bo Peep paper (Crate Paper), and used my favourite border die again (Magnolia's Tilda Lace die).

I white embossed the congrats from another retired CC Designs set.

And I finished the card off by die-cutting some stars from white felt and attaching with some embroidery floss.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges :

Love to Scrap Challenge - anything goes
Paper Nest Dolls Challenge - anything goes
Southern Girls Challenge - tic-tac-toe (white, stamp, ink)

These bunnies make the sweetest baby cards!

Thanks for stopping by today :)

June :
I loved colouring this sweet fairy and creating a sky for her to fly around in :)

Little Elf

I have another gorgeous stamp from CC Designs to share with you today.
This is Little Elf and I think he is adorable.

I painted a background sky using London Blue, Grape and Turquoise Dylusions paints and then used white to stencil on some stars.

I used an older CC Designs sentiment and ripped the paper to create a snow hill.
I used antique linen and walnut stain around the tag edge and coloured him with copics and popped him up with dimensionals.

The background is soft sky Core'dinations card which was embossed with Nordic Sweater by Sizzix.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenge :

Just Keep On Creating - anything goes
Simon Says Stamp - anything goes

3 Reindeers

I have a cute Christmas card to share today using the adorable new CC Designs stamp set called
3 Reindeers.

There are 3 reindeers in the set and all are gorgeous, but this one is my favourite because of the cute little puppy reindeer :)

I created a background with paints and a snowflake stencil on watercolour paper.
I also flicked some white paint over the top of it.
I tore a snow hill and used versafine sepia instead of black for the sentiment so that it would coordinate better with the brown reindeer.
Then I added some diecut snowflakes to the scene.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges :

Cute Card Thursday - Snowflakes
Southern Girls - Crazy for Critters

Christmas Rose

I have a card for CC Designs to share today.
They have released so many cute Christmas stamps this month and Christmas cards are my favourite things to make, so I'm happy :)

I decided to make a bokeh background with distress inks and white paint.
And I coloured her with copics to coordinate.
I used unconventional Christmas colours I know, but I think it works .
And if not, at least it's unique :)

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges :

Viking Henry

I have used another of CC Designs awesome new Viking stamps on my card.

This one is Viking Henry and he is super fun and just perfect for those, usually tricky, guy cards.

I saw a new challenge at Kraft+ and was very inspired by their graphic :)

I used an embossing folder on Kraft card and rubbed a white craft ink pad lightly over the top to highlight the pattern.
Then I cut out some hexagons from Winter Fun paper by Carta Bella and adhered them to create the background.

I am so glad I found this challenge.
The theme is actually "what's the buzz?" and it's about bees.
So I definitely thought outside the box and changed things up quite a bit :)
I wouldn't have create a background like this without seeing the challenge graphic and I really love the way it has turned out :)

This little viking was so much fun to colour with my Copics!

But I just had to use it because I think it is so perfect for her!

It's such a wonderful release this month!

Unicorn Lucy

I have used another adorable stamp from the newest release by CC Designs.
This one is called Unicorn Lucy. Isn't she so sweet?!

I decided to make this a birthday card, rather than a card for Halloween.

And I kept this card very clean and simple (except for a few shiny things) so that it is all about her! :)

Ingredients :

Stamps : Unicorn Lucy,
Card : x-press it, black, basic grey
Ink : memento black, versafine black, white craft
Other : MAC #14 die, copics

Witch Cinnamon

I have a card for CC Designs to share using the adorable Rustic Sugar stamp called Witch Cinnamon.
She is so gorgeous!
The sentiment is from the new Happy 31st Sentiment Set and it's a great one because you can use it for occasions other than Halloween!

I coloured her with copics and cut her out using the circle and scalloped circle dies.
After cutting out the grey panel I decided to try a little doodling around the edge. It's the first time I've attempted this! It's very basic but I was pretty happy with how it turned out :)
I used white craft ink around the edge and also used it to stencil on a few stars. Then I used a black fineliner to draw around them. The spider is a little stamp from a retired Halloween set.

Witch Kitty

It's time for a new release from CC Designs!

Today is the second day of sneak peeks from the Design Team and we are featuring designs by Rustic Sugar.
I decided to have a play with Witch Kitty, who is very cute but rather mischievous :)
And the greeting is from a new set called Happy 31st Sentiments

I coloured the stamp with copics and also added pencil  to the fur.
I did a little distressing to the panel, so that it looks as though Witch Kitty has been ripping up paper (like my own cat loves to do) and I added some white ink to it as well.

Thanks for dropping by today and if you visit the CC Designs Blog too and leave a comment there, you may be lucky enough to win a prize!

Hipster Lumberjack Guy

I have another one of CC Designs Lumberjack Guys to share today.
I decided to make him an ordinary (but super-cute) guy rather than a lumberjack :)

I love these word and star papers from Bella Blvd and I decided to colour his shirt to match.
My girls said it made him look more like a "hipster" guy than a "lumberjack" guy. Which was a good thing! :)

I had so much fun colouring him!

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges :
7 Kids Challenge - anything goes
Simon Says Stamp - anything goes

There are 4 guys in the set and all of them are fabulous!

There are 2 guys without axes in the set, so it is very versatile and can be used for a lot of different occasions.

Card : x-press it, kraft, black, saffron, wood paper (Simple Stories)

Rockabilly Gals Record

I have a card for CC Designs to share with you today.
This cutie is from a new set by Roberto's Rascals called Rockabilly Gals.
There are 4 gals in the set and they are all gorgeous :)

I wanted to create a record for the card and I did this simply by using some circle dies.
And I decided to use a sentiment from the new Rockabilly Sentiments set for the "song title".  It is actually a long sentiment but I cut it into these three segments to make stamping on the record label easier.

I coloured her with Copics and added some pencil colouring to it also.

Ingredients :

Stamps : Rockabilly Gals, Rockabilly Sentiments, Aphrodite Twila (heart notes)
Card : x-press it, black, grey, red, slate
Ink : memento black, white, versamark, versafine black
Other : Circle Dies #1, MAC #4 die, white ep, copics, pencils

If you head over to the CC Designs Blog you will see some beautiful cards by the Design Team.
And if you leave a comment, you may even be lucky enough to win this set!
