I have a card today for Bunny Zoe's Crafts to show you.
I have used a beautiful High Hopes stamp called Hummingbird Ring.
I think you could make a gorgeous set of cards for somebody with this stamp. Perhaps using the same card design but changing the bird's colouring and sentiment on each card.
I used the new Whimsy sentiment set Everyday Moments, a Prima Sun Kiss button and my copics to colour (of course) :)
The papers are from the gorgeous Summer Stories pad by Teresa Collins.
Ingredients :
Stamps : Hummingbird Ring (High Hopes), Everyday Moments (Whimsy)
Card : baja, x-press it, Summer Stories pad by Teresa Collins
Ink : memento black, pool party
Other : big shot, marvellous square (SB), Prima Sun Kiss button , copics, hemp cord
I would like to enter my card into these challenges :
High Hopes - animal (I am assuming a bird counts?)
Top Tip Tuesday - stitching
Thanks for dropping by today :)

Crown Die
I have something a little bit different to show you today.
I have been loving using the Whimsy Stamps Crown Die on my cards but it occurred to me that it would also make a wonderful brooch.
My youngest daughter's birthday is a bit over a month away and I thought a crown brooch with the guests names on them might be a wonderful little gift for the girls to take home in their goody bags.
This one was a trial run. I actually used my daughter's name (because we won't work out the guest list until closer to the date) and I know she'll definitely want one too of course :)
So here's what I did :
- Used computer to print name onto cardstock.
- Aligned and stamped crown from Fairy Tale Dreams.
- Cut out crown using Crown Die.
- Cut out 4 more crowns from same cardstock.
- Used crystal effects (or Glossy accents) to "glue" crowns together. I completely covered a crown with it and placed another on top. I actually had 2 stacks of 2. I let them dry and then glued these stacks together plus glued the top one on and let it all dry. Then put the jewels on and put crystal effects all over the top and on the sides too. Wait for it to dry. Turn over and cover the back with crystal effects and placed brooch back on it (adding a little more CE if needed). And again wait for it to dry and the brooch is done :)
- Cut cardstock and stamped sentiment from Everyday Moments. Added lines to top and bottom using ruler and black journaling pen.
- Punched 2 holes in card to attach brooch.
I think for the "real thing" I will print on the back :
Thanks for sharing my birthday with me.
And then get my daughter to write her name underneath.
These would also make wonderful magnets, made in exactly the same way.
And the die would be great to make place cards for a party, party bag decorations, to decorate little notebooks as a party favour....
So many possibilities!
Thanks for dropping by for a look today.
Hopefully I've given you some ideas of other ways to use this fantastic die :)

Princess Of Hearts
Hi :)
I have a card for Whimsy Stamps to show you today. It is a design by Elisabeth Bell and it's called Princess Of Hearts. I think she is SO beautiful!
A week or so ago on my blog, I mentioned that I bought some cool grey copics. Well this is what I really needed (that's really "wanted") them for. I really wanted to colour her clothes black, red and gold (I did have to buy one gold copic too). So it's my first attempt at using them and I'm happy with how it turned out.
I also used the Fairy Tale Dreams sentiment set, which is just perfect to use with this image. I decided not to use the crown die this time as I wanted it to look as though it was the Princess' portrait hanging on the castle wall :)
Ingredients :
Stamps : Princess Of Hearts., Fairy Tale Dreams
Card : black, x-press it, SU dsp
Ink : memento black, versamark
Other : big shot, opulent ovals (SB), oval pierced stax (MFT), pearls, black embossing powder, copics
I'd also like to let you know that there is a Design Team Call on now at Whimsy Stamps. They are a wonderful company and it's a fantastic team to be a part of. If you'd like more information please visit the Whimsy Stamps Blog.

Tilda With Fantasy Flower
I have a card for Bunny Zoe Crafts to show you today.
I've used a Magnolia stamp called Tilda with Fantasy Flower. She's very sweet isn't she!
You could use her for lots of occasions but I have run out of Thank You cards and I thought she would work perfectly on one.
The sentiment is a new one from Whimsy Stamps called Definitions Notables 7. It's out of stock at the moment but just email Nikki and I'm sure she will get more in for you. It's a great sentiment set.
The beautiful blue papers are from a lovely pad by Echo Park called Head Over Heels. I used the Magnolia Tilda Lace Die and the MFT Grassy Edges Die. And I also used star dust stickles, round gems and a Prima Tea-Thyme button.
Oh and my Copics of course :)
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Magnolia Down Under Challenges - Hearts and Flowers
ABC Challenge - F is for flowers
Feeling Crafty Challenge - Dies and or punches
Sweet Magnolia Challenge Blog - love or hearts
Thanks for dropping by today :)

The Little Bird
I have another Whimsy Stamps card to show you today.
This one is by new Whimsy Designer Cathy Delanssay and is called The Little Bird. Isn't she beautiful!
I stamped the image and sponged a cloudy sky behind her. I then coloured the rest with copics except for her dress. I thought her dress might look pretty fading into different colours just like a brayered sky. So I brayered pink and purple inks onto card and then stamped onto it and cut it out and so her dress and hair band are paper pieced with my brayered paper.
I also used the beautiful Crown Die and matching sentiment set Fairy Tale Dreams, which both work so perfectly with her.
Ingredients :
Stamps : The Little Bird, Fairy Tale Dreams
Card : x-press it, soft sky, soft sky core'dinations, silver glimmer paper
Ink : memento black, pool party, wisteria, pretty in pink, regal rose
Other : big shot, Crown Die, Double Scallop Doily Die, music ef (SB), rhinestones, copics
Thanks for dropping by today :)

Elsie With Daisies
I have some very exciting news to share. I have been asked to stay on at Bunny Zoe's Crafts and become a permanent member of their Design Team! WooHooo!!! I am so excited!!! Lucky Me :)
I get to be a part of this very talented team and they are the loveliest ladies to work with too!
Thanks so much Nikki :)
It's new challenge time at Bunny Zoe's Crafts! And this month the challenge is:
Love/Hearts
I used this adorable image from Wild Rose Studio called Elsie With Daisies, isn't that kitten soooo cute!!!
She reminded me of my cat Indie, so I just had to colour her white and grey too.
I also used a new Whimsy sentiment stamp called Definitions notables 7. It actually has a definition under the word "Love" but I used it like a tab behind the image so you can't see that part :)
I used an older Whimsy sentiment set too; Birthday Letter Seals.
I used the Frilly Banner Die by CC Designs, I love this die, it adds a really sweet touch I think and I added Antique Linen Distress Ink to the edges.
The paper is by Echo Park and is from a pad called Head Over Heels. I especially love this hugs and kisses paper and there are a lot of other great love/valentine papers in it which are very cute. It is double- sided though and there are lots of patterns and plains that you could use for any occasion.
I coloured it with my copics of course and added some Star dust Stickles to the centre of the flowers.
This is a photo of Indie when he was a kitten, he's a bit bigger and greyer now, but he's still very cute :)
I hope you'll join us for our Love/ Hearts challenge this month at Bunny Zoe's. It's not just about Valentine's Day :)

Bunny's Birthday
Hi :)
Today I have a card for Whimsy Stamps using an adorable image by Crissy Armstrong. It's called Bunny's Birthday. Isn't he the sweetest !
He would obviously be perfect for a kids birthday card (and I will be making one of those too) but I just had this idea that he could be a hare. And so I coloured him grey and added this funny sentiment. I made this for my sister and I think she'll appreciate it :)
Whimsy Stamps has decided to start a monthly challenge on its Facebook page and this month the challenge is pretty easy : Something New. This is my card for the challenge, using a new stamp! Please hop over and join the group (if you haven't already) and play along with our February challenge. It will be fun and you may even win a prize :)
I coloured the image with my copics and my treasured warm greys are almost out of ink. EEK! What a catastrophe that would be, I hurriedly place an ink refill order and also shouted myself to some cool greys too (that was a bit extravagant!) I'm looking forward to trying out a different grey look but I think the warm greys will remain my favourites :) For the cupcake icing, I coloured with copics then added crystal effects and sprinkled silver glitter onto it while still wet.
Ingredients :
Stamps : Bunny's Birthday Whimsy
Card : x-press it, pool party, winter fun (carte bella)
Ink : memento black
Other : big shot, pretty posies (MFT), felt, pool party button and dots, crystal effects, silver glitter, hemp cord, copics
