Mrs Claus

I have a card to share today featuring Mrs Claus one of the gorgeous new Christmas stamps from Mo's Digital Pencil.

This is such a fun stamp and I loved colouring and creating this card :)

I created the backgound using the Gingham stamp from Whimsy Stamps with Citron Distress Oxide ink.  The sentiment is from an old CC Designs set and the Jolly die is from Concord & 9th. I also used the Envelope edger die by Whimsy Stamps.

I added some highlights to the Jolly die and added stars to Mrs Claus' apron with a white gel pen.

When I Look Into Your Eyes

I have a card to share using one of the gorgeous stamps from Dreamerland Crafts today :)

This one is called When I Look Into Your Eyes and it's so very sweet.

I coloured the image with Copics and then used a die to cut a pretty border at the bottom.
I silver embossed the 'Special' onto the piece and then stamped the rest of the sentiment on a separate piece of paper and cut the words out.

The pretty papers are both from a beautiful Vintage Girl collection by Photoplay.

Dolly

Hi :)  It's Kathy here.  I have a card to share with you today using a gorgeous stamp by Sylvia Zet called Dolly.

I had to choose her to use because I think she is so incredibly sweet, beautiful and cute all rolled into one!

I coloured Dolly with a bright bunch of flowers and clothes to match because I wanted to make a very happy and fun birthday card.

But you can create a totally different vibe just by making different colour choices.
So she could be used to make fabulous thank you, thinking of you and get well cards too.

I coloured her with Copics and then cut out that panel with the Envelope Edger Die Set.
This gives such a lovely border on cards. I'm a bit addicted to using it I must admit :)

I also used the Happy Large Word Die again because I LOVE this die too!!!
I cut it twice using black card and glued them together for a little more height.

I stamped the little "birthday" from Everyday Scripted Sentiments and cut around it by hand.

Copics used :

E 000, 00, 04, 11, 13, 21, 39, 41, 42, 43, 44, 47
R 00, 20, 22, 24, 30, 56
RV 0000, 00, 02
BG 11, 13, 15, 72
G 24, 82
YG 11, 13
Y 13, 15
W 1

I kept this card clean and simple so that Dolly was the main focus.
She definitely deserves to be the star of the show :)

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges :

Stamping Sensations - fabulously feminine
Fashionable Stamping Challenges - anything goes
Word Art Wednesday - anything goes with a sentiment

Thanks for dropping by today :)

Elsa the Fairy

Hi, I'm back with another Christmas card for Whimsy Stamps :)

I love Marina Fedotova's girl stamps!
There are so many gorgeous ones that it was hard to choose just one but I ended up falling for Elsa the Fairy.
It is such a beautiful image and I really loved colouring her.

After I coloured her with Copics I used the Envelope Edger Die to create a pretty border.
I love the effect this edge gives!

I placed this over the top of another piece of white card that I had stamped with the Gingham Background stamp  This background is so versatile, but I especially love teaming gingham with sweet images such as this one.

I stamped the "Christmas" from Everyday Scripted Sentiments in a darker ink over the top of the background.  And paired it with the Happy Large Word Die.

I used this technique on one of my other Christmas cards too but I couldn't resist doing it again!
I just love the way these two work together!

I finished the card off with an enamel dot from the It's a Party collection and a little Wink of Stella on the star.

Copics used :

R 20, 22, 24, 30
BV 0000, 000, 00, 02, 04
