Jennifer Dove from DoveArt Studio is back with another collection of amazing stamps.
We have a wonderful, colourful hop for you to enjoy today. The stamps are available for purchase now, you will want them all by the end of the hop.
Instead of colouring the entire stamp, I decided to make the butterfly the centre of attention.
I stamped the image with Brilliance Pearlescent Purple onto vanilla cardstock. And then stamped it again using memento black onto x-press it copic card, coloured it in with my copics and cut it out. I did this step twice. There is a separate top and bottom wing to give the butterfly more dimension. I used a glue dot in between the wings to lift the outer top wing. I also used a black marker to draw on the butterfly's legs and antennae.
Ingredients :
Stamps : Lilac and butterfly, Happy Harvest
Card : vanilla, river rock, plum, x-press it
Ink : memento black, Brilliance pearlescent purple, antique linen distress ink
Other : black pearls, vanilla seam binding, corner die (whimsy), copics
Copics used :
B 0000, 00, 02, 04
BV 0000, 00, 02,
If you get lost along the hop, here is the order . . .
Comment on each blog, because 2 of them hold the prize. What is the prize??? Two lucky winners will win 2 stamps from the hop. The winner will be announced on Sunday January 3st at 8:00 pm est.
