This is another violin card I have made for my daughter’s violin teacher. I have been searching for card challenges and found a great sketch at
The Friday Mashup. This is my first time playing along with them. It’s a great challenge site where they give you a couple of options. This week you could do the sketch, mother of pearl technique or a combination of both. I love doing mother of pearl, but I couldn’t see it working with this stamp and I have to get some more of these cards made. So I’ve just used their sketch.
I have used a combination of blues, baja and not quite navy. These are 2 of my favourite colours. I hope the teacher likes them too!
Ingredients :
Stamps : violin girl (MFT), the nicest things
Card : baja, NQN, white, x-press it, ret. dsp
Ink : memento black stazon, crumb cake,
Other : copics, baja seam binding, big shot, nesties
I think the little violinist is in more of a classical mood this time.
