This is the last of my cards for my daughter’s violin teacher.
I found a new sketch challenge site called retrosketches. I thought this sketch was interesting and I loved the design team samples so I decided to give it a try with my little violin girl.
It was kind of hard for me to cut off part of the image, but I’m actually really happy with how it turned out.
And I am loving the everyday enchantment paper. I wasn’t going to order more supplies to earn some more of it, but I think I might just have to!
Ingredients :
Stamps : Violin girl (MFT)
Card : pool party, crumb cake, x-press it, everyday enchantment dsp
Ink : memento black
Other : copics, pool party ribbon, pool party brads
Hopefully the teacher likes this set of cards I’ve made for her. I have also bought her a nice pen and some postage stamps and they will all be in a pretty box for easy storage.

Awe Kathy your little violin girl is so adorable! I love how your colored her! I'm also loving those pool part brads in the corner. Thanks for playing in this week's Retrosketches!
ReplyDeleteSuper-cute, Kathy! I love how you've cropped the image, and used those cute dotty brads (LOVE those things!).
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful one. I can't wait to hear how she reacts to this lovely gift you are putting together.
ReplyDeleteSo cute. My daughter is in violin and my son just started the cello. I may have to find the violin images.
ReplyDeleteLove your sweet card, Kathy! Heather's images are the best and your coloring is perfect! Thank you so much for supporting us & playing along with RetroSketches this week!
