So much chocolate

This week at JAI we have a sketch challenge for you to try.

It looks pretty, but looks can be deceiving ….. I found it to be pretty hard.

Anyway I flipped the sketch and this is what I came up with.

I saw this really cute chocolate holder on Lorri Heilings blog and I just had to make one.  She has all the instructions and a print out if you’d like to make one too.

On the inside are the Rules Of Chocolate and a chocolate bar.

Amazingly there were no unopened chocolate bars in my house when I needed to take the photo.  I might have to buy quite a few in different sizes in order to get just the right fit.  The things we do for our craft  :)

Of course I saw this months ago but by the time I got around to making one the Eat Chocolate set had retired :(  It’s a keeper though, there are so many great things to do with this set!

Ingredients :

Stamps :  Eat chocolate

Card :  choc chip, white, shimmery white, in colour dsp stack

Ink :  pip, regal rose, choc chip, versamark

Other :  white taffeta ribbon, clear embossing powder, mini glue dots, white pen, designer label punch, neutral brads, wide oval punch

Please take a look at all the great ideas the rest of the JAI team have come up with this week and give this sketch a try.

  1. A very cute project, Kathy. I've got stamps that I got ages ago, never used and have retired, but not keen to part with them because they'll be just perfect for one of the many projects I'm sure we all have on our very long list of things to do.

  2. Isnt a shame that stamp has retired! I love it! lol about the no chocolate in the house ..have fun trying the sizes of chocolate out to fit ..wink wink!

  3. Absolutely classic!! What a great rule list to have, lol. Love the folder you have put it in too. Looks good enough to eat!

  4. You are so right Kathy - you can't go wrong with chocolate :) and your chocolates look good enough to eat!

  5. This makes me want to eat chocolate....NOW! ;) LOL...wonderful card, but very dangerous.

  6. This is a fabulous project! Love how you've added the 'rules of chocolate' to the inside of your choccie holder. Mmmmmm, looks good enough to eat.

  7. You do amazing things with set Kathy, this is no exception, your choccies look so yum!

I love comments!
