Nutty Buddies

I decided to use the super cute owl from the new CC Designs, Meoples Nutty Buddies set to make a post it note holder. 

I wanted to make a little Thank You for one of my Daughter's teachers and I thought that adorable owl would work well with the All About Teachers sentiment set.

The background was made using the gorgeous Birch Tree Stencil and the CC Designs Snow Storm ink pad. All I had to do was sponge some of the ink on with a dauber, it was very quick and easy and it looks so effective.  Then I coloured the owl and leaves from the set with copics in some bright, fun colours, cut them out and layered them on top.
Cute!

I have a card to share today, using an older CC Designs stamp.

This is Santas Helper, I have always loved her and when the Design Team were given the chance to work with an older design I jumped at the chance to play with her.

And she didn't disappoint!  She was heaps of fun to colour and I just love the way she turned out :)

I took colour inspiration from the papers and I found a fabulous sketch at Sketch Saturday to use.

I have another new release CC Designs stamp to share with you today :)

And this one is a real sweetie, this is Abigail's Acorn.

I wanted to get the feel of Autumn but I didn't want it to be a yellow/orange palette.

I decided to use blues, greys and purples instead and I really like how it turned out.

Nancy With Sunflowers

Hi :)  I have another cute new release from CC Designs to share.
This one is a Roberto's image called  Nancy With Sunflowers.
It's such an adorable scene isn't it?!

I just love this stamp and it was lots of fun to colour it!
I do love sunflowers on cards and I also found a perfect sentiment to go with them in the Pool Party set.

Hi :)

It's new release week at CC Designs and there are some really gorgeous designs once again.

I decided to use this super sweet stamp called Birgitta with Heart.  You could use her for lots of occasions and she's just so pretty isn't she?!
The sentiment isn't new, but I just thought it was a perfect fit for her.  It's from the Pool Party sentiment set and it's such a great set of sentiments I think.  And this one fit perfectly on the smallest oval from the Make a Card #5 die :)
