Christmas Stash

This week at Just Add Ink we have a sketch from Mae to inspire us.

My sister sent me an email last week and she asked whether maybe I had a secret stash of Christmas cards ready to put up on my blog because I haven’t posted many!  NO!  THERE IS DEFINITELY NO STASH!

She shocked me into realising that I’d better get started making some!

So I thought I’d use this sketch challenge to make a Christmas card to add to my very small collection.

Ingredients :

Stamps : Greeting card kids, Teeny tiny sentiments

Card : crumb cake, x-press it, marina mist, cherry cobbler, Be of good cheer dsp

Ink : crumb cake, memento black

Other : copics, rhinestones, cherry seam binding, square punch

Please check out what the rest of the design team have come up with this week.  There are so many gorgeous cards!  I don’t think anyone else has made a Christmas card, perhaps they already have a large Christmas Card Stash?

  1. Really, really sweet and adorable.

  2. Such a sweet image surrounded with the gorgeous red patterned paper and ribbon!!! It's perfectly festive!

  3. Beautiful, Kathy! I laughed at your little story ... now get creating!! (Think you might have your hands a little full, though.) Love the way you've used colour on this card, and as always your colouring of the image is stunning.

  4. You have done such a lovely job with this image Kathy. She looks absolutely adorable and the shading on her coat makes it glow....gorgeous card! Now to keep going with building that stash...:0)

  5. This little girl is such a cutie and you have coloured her beautifully Kathy. She glows against the deep rich red of the DSP. Gorgeous Christmas card - you're off to a good start :) xxx

  6. Oh this is gorgeous Kathy! Love your colouring and the shading you've added to make her really shine!

I love comments!
