Well, it's the last day of 2015! I can't quite believe it, it has gone so fast!
I've been lucky enough to be on the Design Team at CC Designs again this year and I've worked as a Guest Designer for a few other stamp companies too. I am very grateful for these opportunities. I love creating with these wonderful teams.
I've done a "Best Of" thing on my blog the past few years, so I had to keep the tradition going :)
Here are my favourite cards for each month of 2015 :)
Jan :
Using a super cute Pollycraft image from CC Designs.
Feb :
I was very happy with how this turned out. I created a card that looked like my phone case and made a tutorial for it.
I actually worked it out myself ! :)
Mar :
Using a sweet image and pretty spring colours.
April :
This is such a cute image by Pollycraft. There are just so many cute ones but this one is one of my favourites!
May :
I made this one for my Granddaughters birthday. I really liked how the dot stencil background turned out using paste and glitter.
June :
I made this little cutie into a Rocker Card. It's the first one I've made and it turned out sweet! :)
July :
I got to be a Guest Designer at Kraftin Kimmie stamps and I had lots of fun using their designs. But I especially loved this princess card! Unfortunately, I never got to give it to anyone because my cat totally destroyed it :(
Aug :
This one was using an older image from CC Designs and I just love the way it turned out :) I did another background using a stencil and embossing paste and cut out some felt clouds.
Sep :
Okay, I know I said I was being good and only choosing one card each month, but I just couldn't help it! I love both of these two and I couldn't upset one of them by not choosing it :)
Oct :
The start of Christmas card making. I really loved this one and I revisited an old technique with crafty stuff I've had lying around for years :)
Nov :
I used some of my favourite colours for this card, with my copic colouring and the background I created. I hadn't made a background like this before and I love how it turned out.
Dec :
I was lucky enough to be a Guest Designer at Quick Creations and I chose this Gorjuss stamp to work with for December.
Thanks for visiting my blog this year. And especially to those of you who've left me a comment or two. They're so lovely to read and I really do appreciate it!
Kathy :)

I also used some Frantage Shabby White embossing enamel for a bit of a cool background.

Stamps : Toadstools (Gorjuss)
Card : x-press it, gold, Tweed (Santoro)
Ink : memento black
Other : Ovals #1 die, Scalloped ovals die, Frantage shabby white embossing enamel, Tweed bow, copics
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Sweet Penguins
This is my last Chistmas project for the year - Phew!
And there were some dramas with it :)
I wanted to make my granddaughter a little Christmas gift and I decided to buy one of these snowglobes that you can put your photo inside. So one side has a lovely photo of her and on the other side I created a little wintery scene using some new and old goodies from CC Designs.
I wanted to have her name on it so I used the Mini Alpha and Numbers die for that and added some stardust stickles to the top. SO, after colouring the cute little penguin and cutting her out, I decided to ink up a pretty scene so that she would be on snow with a sunset behind her. When the glitter was dry and I attached it to the card and put it in the globe, I realised the name was too low and you couldn't read it because of the snow and the red base. I tried to pull the letters off and of course I had stuck it too well and I just ruined the whole thing!
Sooo I started again! Cut out the name again, glittered it and inked up another pretty background.
Then I waited for it to dry. I put it in the snowglobe and I was much happier with it. I knew it was going to be hard to photograph and it was! It does look much prettier in person.
When I was going through the photos to choose a couple of better ones for my blog, I thought how weird it was that the background inking had not shown up very much at all. It was very "washed-out" and just looked as if it was WHITE!? Umm ...... surely I couldn't have really stuck it down on the un-inked side of the paper, could I? After doing all this twice?
I had to go and check .....
YEP I did! And there was no way I was doing it a 3rd time! It's a shame because the inked background did look nice, but it's still pretty - I just can't believe that I did that! :(
I think it just shows how stressed out my brain is about STILL not having all my Christmas shopping done yet!
Oh well, maybe it will teach me to be more organised next year :)
I hope you have a very Happy Christmas :)

Merry Praying Twila
Well I think this really has to be my last Christmas card of the year.
But I just needed to make one more with this cute angel from CC Designs!
I found a wonderful sketch to use at Sketch Saturday and had fun with it :)
I stamped the sheet music on the background of the kraft piece and used pearl-ex on it, but it's a bit hard to to see that in the photo. I created a cloud background for her, using different inks for a range of colours and I used stardust Stickles on the wings and halo.
I have been a bit slack about writing down my copic colours lately. So I'm sorry to those people who like to check that :) I will get back to being good after the Christmas madness has subsided :)
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Sketch Saturday - sketch
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - sparkle
Cute Card Thursday - stars
7 Kids College Fund - anything goes
Little Miss Muffet - Holiday Cheer
Simon Says Stamp - Die Crazy
Thanks for dropping by today :)

There's only one week of school left and Christmas is getting very close (gulp)! So I thought I might make a little post-it note holder for a Teacher Gift.
This Pollycraft stamp from CC Designs called Millie, was one of my favourites from this years releases. She is just so cute! I decided to use very bright watermelon colours and I used my favourite die release from this year too, the Make a Tag Die.
I'd like to enter my post-it note holder into the following challenges :

Iggy
I have had lots of fun colouring another of the CC Designs new releases!
This one's called Iggy and it's such a cute stamp. Those penguins are adorable aren't they!?
I coloured her with copics and used some glitter on the fake fur of her outfit.
The igloo is covered in Glossy Accents too but you can't see the shine in the photo unfortunately.
The sentiment is from the Pollycraft Super Duper Sentiments set and I coloured in the middle word with copics to match the image.
I'm not sure whether sitting on an igloo would be much fun but playing with penguins most definitely would be! :)
Ingredients :
Stamps : Iggy, Super Duper Sentiments
Card : x-press it, Winter Fun (Carta Bella)
Ink : memento black, versafine
Squares #1 die, big scalloped squares die, library clip, copics
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Sparkle
7 Kids Challenge - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Take you pick : Glitter
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Snowflake
Hi :) I have a card using another adorable stamp from the CC Designs new release to share with you.
This one is a Pollycraft stamp called Snowflake. She's just SO cute!
And I teamed her up with this fun saying from the Snowy Sentiments set.
I decided to create a background for her with distress inks. After I had sponged on the inks I splattered some water on top. Then I added some extra dimension by using texture paste with the Birthday Dots Stencil. It was the first time I've tried this and I was really happy with how pretty it turned out. I also added some snowflakes from the new Snowflakes Die.
Ingredients :
Stamps : Snowflake, Snowy Sentiments
Ink : memento black, versafine, broken china, tumbled glass and dusty concord distress inks
Card : x-press it, slate, silver
Other : Rectangles #1 Die, Snowflakes Die, Birthday Dots stencil, texture paste, copics
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges :
7 Kids Challenge - Anything Goes
Little Miss Muffet - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - Starts with 'N' (New technique)
Thanks for dropping by today :)
