Excited
I got a very exciting email a couple of days ago from Bunny Zoe's Crafts.
I was asked to be a Guest Design Team member! :)
I am so happy and excited to create with all the wonderful goodies they have in store and I get to be a part of their extremely talented team too!
WoooHoooo!!!
I just need to wait for a package from England to arrive now so that I can get started.
I’ll be stalking the postman! :)

True Friends
Aren’t these two cute!!!
This is a very sweet stamp by Sylvia Zet called Beau and Bashful. They are part of the new release at Whimsy Stamps this month.
And I love them and so do my girls of course :)
I decided to colour them in blue and purple because I love this colour combination and I have just added a couple of copics to my BV and BG collections and wanted to try them out. And at Bunny Zoe’s Crafts the challenge this month is to add something blue and I wanted to play along :)
There are so many fun ways you could colour these two and they could be used for lots of different occasions.
It’s a great stamp!

Inspiring Apple
Yesterday (18 September) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, Shapeology dies and Whimsy Designer Paper packs. From 17 September until today the Whimsy Stamps DT are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily blog hop!
I decided to use a beautiful new stamp by Elisabeth Bell called Apple Dumpling.
Isn't she so sweet!!!
I also used the new set from Raindrop Echo called Holiday Sliders 3 again. As you can probably tell, that sentiment doesn't come with the set, it is actually from Treasured Moments Tickets. I just cut the sentiment out in an oval and placed it on top. There are lots of smaller sentiments that could be used with the Holiday Sliders set this way, such as ones in the mini letter seals and ticket sets. So it is a great Christmas set but it also means you have a beautiful frame for your sentiments that you can use throughout the year.
Ingredients :
Stamps : Apple Dumpling, Holiday Sliders 3, Treasured Moments Tickets
Card : Black, x-press it, blushing bride, Delightful (Authentique)
Ink : memento black
Other : big shot, marvellous squares SB, Slider 3 die, circles and ovals SB, red satin ribbon, copics
Each blog hop has a prize of 2 new release stamps hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw.

Santa's Buckle
Our brand new September Release Rubber Stamps & Stamp Sets, Whimsy Shapeology Dies and Whimsy Designer Paper 6x6 packs are now available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store!!
To celebrate our new release, the DT are holding a blog hop today and are sharing creations made with some of the brand new Elisabeth Bell, Time For Tea Designs and Raindrop Echo Designs stamps!
I decided to use a new sentiment set by Raindrop Echo Designs called Holiday Sliders 3.
I just love this font, it's so fun!
I thought it would make a great belt buckle for a Santa suit card.
I embossed it once with silver embossing powder and used the matching Slider 3 die to cut it out and then stamped it again with black and just cut out the oval and glued that on top.
This set is actually really versatile, I hope you'll come back to my blog tomorrow to see how I've used it in a very different way.
Ingredients :
Stamps : Holiday Sliders 3
Card : red, white, black
Ink : versamark, stazon
Other : Slider 3 die, Delicate designs ef (SU), big shot, silver ep, oval nesties, buttons and thread

I just love this stamp it is so very sweet! It was lots of fun to colour too!
I paper-pieced the two patches on her jeans with the same paper I used for the background. I cut that into squares too and zigzag stitched it to mimic the sewn patches.

Horse Love
This is a card I made using a new Whimsy Stamp by Crissy Armstrong called Horse Love.
Isn’t this image so sweet! If you have a girl that loves horses then this stamp is a must have I think. My girls aren’t really horse crazy (although they do like them) but they both have good friends who are. I think this will be a great card for one of them. (I probably should make another one too!)
I would also like to enter this card into the challenge at Stamp and Create. Their challenge this month is Birthdays.
Ingredients :
Stamps : Horse Love, Treasured Moments Tickets
Card : river rock, pool party, x-press it, paper?
Ink : memento black, not quite navy
Other : big shot, Ticket Die, Vines Die, Mini rolled rose (MFT), pearl pen, lacy brocade ef, copics, oval and oval scallop nesties
Copics used:
E000, E00, E31, E33, E35

Welcome Favourite
This is the third Christmas card my friends and I made at my card class on Saturday. This one was my favourite, probably because it is using one of my favourite colour combinations : Crumb cake, Pool party, Vanilla and Midnight Muse. I found a new to me challenge called Loves Rubber Stamps Challenge Blog and their challenge this week was to use your favourite colour combo, so I did :)
Ingredients :
Stamps : Ornament Keepsakes, welcome christmas (MDS)
Card : crumb cake, pool party, pool party coredinations, vanilla, naturals ivory
Ink : midnight muse, crumb cake
Other : big shot, linen thread, holiday ornaments framelits, lacy brocade ef, square scallop die
It was quite a lot of layers to cut for a class but I loved the look and they are good friends :)
