My youngest daughter is turning 8 this week!

I just can’t believe it! My baby is growing up way too fast.  I told her to slow down but she hasn’t. :(

Anyway this is the card I’ve made for her.

My sister bought me this cute Pure Innocence girl for Christmas but I still hadn’t got around to stamping her. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity, she’s very cute just like my little (big) girl.

I used some dsp to paper piece her dress and make the banner and I used another new stamp on this card too, Distressed Dots. It’s bound to retire now that I finally caved and bought it :)

I have used this week's MFT sketch challenge for my card.

Ingredients :
Stamps : Something special just for you (MFT), distressed dots
Card : pool party, island indigo, calypso coral, white, sycamore st dsp
Ink : white, pool party, memento black
Other : copics, bakers twine, sycamore street ribbon, square scallop die, big shot, timeless type alpha

  1. This is adorable! Perfect for an 8 year old. Fun take on the sketch too!

  2. This is so cute, Kathy! I love your coloring and love the dots! Time really does fly with kids, huh? I'm already realizing that. :(

  3. Sweet design Kathy, love the flags and your cute little girl.

I love comments!
