Bubble Heart

A friend of mine is having an engagement party this weekend and of course I wanted to make a card for her. But when I looked through my stamps (and I have quite a few!) there didn't seem to be anything quite right.
So I decided to do some shopping :)
I found this gorgeous stamp by Mo Manning called Bubble Heart and just had to have it! I thought it was so sweet and would be perfect for the happy couple :)

There is a wonderful sketch over at Sketch Saturday this week and it's definitely a "keeper".  I love the clean and simple design of it and just had to play along with their challenge.

Birthday Hugs

It was my daughter's birthday yesterday. Those 13 years have flown by!
It's really a bit sad that she's no longer a little girl :(

Anyway this is the card I made for her.  I used a sweet stamp by CC Designs called Hugs Lucy.

I saw a great sketch over at Sketch Saturday and decided to try it and I'm so glad I did.
I am also entering it into one of the challenges for the SplitcoastStampers Dare To Get Dirty Challenge.
