Well I actually made this card for the challenge at Freshly Made Sketches this week. It was their 100th sketch, which is quite an achievement!
Unfortunately I didn’t get it done in time to enter but I thought I’d put it on my blog anyway.
I was lucky enough to be a guest design team member for FMS and I loved being on their team. They always have fantastic sketches and the whole team is talented and lovely too.
I am holding a Christmas card making day and stamp sale at my place this Saturday and this is one of the cards we’ll be making. If you’re interested in coming along please email me :)

Goldfish Kid
For my card I used a new Kenny K image called Goldfish Kid.
I realised the last time my daughter had a boy's birthday party to go to, that I had no good boy stamps that weren't babyish! (She is 8 and was not impressed with the card she had to give :( Very uncool!)
So I thought this one would be a perfect addition to my stamp collection :) Great for boys of any age I think.
I coloured the kid all in greys to try to give it a real comic strip feel. And I put the emphasis on the cute goldfish by giving it all the colour and using crystal effects on the bag to make it shiny.
I printed the O'fish'ally saying on the computer and used the great "smile" saying from the Treasured Moments Tickets set. I think it's perfect for the goldfish and kid.
Ingredients :
Stamps : Goldfish Kid (KK), Treasured Moments Tickets
Card : x-press it, pumpkin coredinations, grey
Ink : memento black
Other : crystal effects, ticket die, big shot, alphabet press ef, copics
Copics used :
W00, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
Y13, 15
YR14, 16
BG000, 10, 01

I wanted to try to get another card made for the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges at Splitcoast and I have only just got it done in time. Phew!
I decided to use my cute Whimsy cow again. I love her!
I coloured her differently this time and used a sentiment from Stampin Up and added the word “udderly” to it :)
I think I will give this to my daughter’s violin teacher to let her know how much we appreciate all the love and effort she puts in to her lessons. She really is Udderly Fabulous!

Let The ….
I made this card using another new release Whimsy Stamp. It is by Raindrop Echo Designs and is called Welcome To The Big Top.
It’s a set with lots of great sentiments in it plus it also has some fun images like this merry-go-round too!
I stamped the sentiment on some card cut with the Whimsy Ticket Die. It’s my first time using it and it’s such a fun element, I love the way it looks!
There is one bad thing about this sentiment though. Every time I read it, I sing it!
Like this:
“LET THE ….. Good times ro-lllll! “
The Cars were singing that over and over in my head while I was making this card. I do like that song though luckily :)
This card is also for the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges at Splitcoast Stampers. If you’re a Splitcoast Fan Club Member you can see all the details of these fun challenges here.
I sponged daffodil, cherry and starfruit inks to make the sun rays background.
Ingredients :
Stamps : Welcome To The Big Top
Card : crumbcake, white, midnight muse
Ink : daffodil delight, cherry cobbler, starfruit, midnight muse, crumbcake
Other : ticket die
